On Tuesday, November 1, 2011, opening day of the 2011 SEMA Automotive Industry Show, Westin Automotive introduced a brand new step product, the GenX Oval Tube Nerf Step, that appeals to off-road enthusiasts as well as to street truck and daily use vehicle owners that simply want to capture an off-road appeal.

The GenX Oval Tube Nerf Step is unique in the fact that the tubing for both the upper bar and the drop step is oval shaped. The upper oval tube is a 4" diameter oval tube at it's widest dimension that serves as an accent bar which encompasses the street style look. The drop step is made of a 2" diameter tube that features a textured step pad area with a WestinX series logo.
Westin’s GenX Oval Tube Nerf Step is being offered in fifteen new SKUs for Chevy, Dodge, Ford, GMC, and Toyota trucks, and for the Jeep Wrangler. Product will be available in the first quarter 2012. First offering will be available in black powdercoat finish.
